Overview
Shotwell is a free and open-source photo management application designed for personal use. It allows users to import photos from disk or camera, organize them using time-based Events, Tags (keywords), Folders, and more. The application offers a full-window or fullscreen viewing mode and basic image editing capabilities like cropping, rotating, color adjustment, straightening, and enhancement. Shotwell supports slideshows, video, and RAW photo formats. Users can share their photos to major Web services such as Flickr, Tumblr, and YouTube.
