Synthetix is a decentralized derivatives trading platform built on Ethereum. It allows users to trade perpetual futures (Perps) with the security of onchain custody and the speed of offchain order matching. The platform leverages a hybrid model combining an offchain order book for low-latency matching with onchain custody for asset security. Synthetix Perps offers multicollateral margin, allowing users to trade with ETH, wstETH, cbBTC, or sUSDe. Anyone can deposit sUSD into the Synthetix Liquidity Pool (SLP) to earn market-making returns from spreads, fees, and liquidations. Synthetix is designed for DeFi traders seeking a secure and efficient way to trade perpetual futures.
