Tana is an AI-powered knowledge graph and productivity tool that combines a powerful outliner with dynamic Supertags, AI automation, daily notes, and a connected knowledge graph. Unlike traditional note-taking apps, Tana allows users to turn notes into structured data without predefined schemas. Supertags enable classification and organization of notes, while live search widgets provide dynamic information retrieval. The platform exposes a local API and Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing AI tools like Claude Code and Gemini CLI to directly interact with the user's knowledge base.
